Timeline Reflection (1-C): August 31 2012
1. What are the good or strong parts of your timeline?
I used a lot of repeating colors for unity.
2. What I could have done better.
because I could have spent more time on it so I won't have to stay up late to finish it.
3. Describe the attributes of your theme.
My theme is about my life, some of the symbols in my timeline are: when i was little I was in a car crash, I won 1st place in the state 4-H archery tournament. I was in the Miss Teen of IA.
4. Describe the colors used in your design. what are the dominant? what colors are less dominant?
I used all the colors of the rainbow, red is my most dominant color, my less dominant color is pink.
5. Describe your use of rhythm: what do you have that repeats in your design? Why did you use that for your rhythm?
the rainbow, because all the colors work together like people work together to get things done.
6. Metacognate: What did you learn that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
I learned how to shade and what unity and rhythm mean. That if we unite wet could bring color in to the world where it needs it most. because in the places where there isn't much food or clean water, when we give the things they need to them, it will brighten there world a little more.
7. The design process of your drawing (the steps): Why did you do it the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance? Elaborate...
First I thought about what some of the things that I wanted to put in it, that I drew it out with pencil then I colored it in with colored pencils after that.
8. Is this a worthwhile project? What should Mr. Purdy do to this project in the future? Why?
Yes this is a worthwhile project, kids should have the option of markers, crayons or colored pencils.
